Answer:

p(x) =x^2-4x+4

put x=2in given equation, we get

p(2) =2^2-4(2) +4

p(2) =4-8+4

p(2) =8-8

p(2) =0.

put x=-1 in given equation, we get

p(x) =x^2-4x+4

p(-1) =(-1) ^2-4(-1) +4

p(-1) =1+4+4

p(-1) =9.

put p(2) =0 and p(-1) =9 we get

p(2)-p(-1)

0-9=-9 ans
