Answer:

0 will be remainder

Step-by-step explanation:

g(X) = 0 ......(1)

g(x) = X+1 .......(2)

so, x= -1

Therefore, g(-1)

using remainder theorum,

By putting the value of g(x) in P(x)

P(x) = (-1)^3 - 2(-1)^2 - 4(-1) - 1

P(x) = -1 -2 +4 -1

P(x) = -4 +4

P(x) = 0

So, if P(x) is divided by g(x) then the remainder will be zero....
