Answer use factor theorem to solve this problem

Step-by-step explanation: g (X) =x+2

Zero of X + 2 is -2

Put -2 on the place of x so it will be

- 2 × 3 +3+-2+1 =-4

X+4 is another factor of P(X)

g(x)=x+2=0

x=-2

p(x)=x^3+3x+1

p(-2)=(-2)^3+3(-2)+1

=(-8)+(-6)+1

=(-15) is the answer...
