Given :- p(x)=x²- 2x + 1 . find the zero of the polynomial ?

Answer :-

putting p(x) = 0 , we get,

→ x² - 2x + 1 = 0

→ x² - x - x + 1 = 0

→ x(x - 1) - 1(x - 1) = 0

→ (x - 1)(x - 1) = 0

putting both equal to 0 we get,

→ x - 1 = 0

→ x = 1 .

therefore, zeros of polynomial p(x) are (1,1) .
