p(x) = {x}^{2} - 5x - 6 \\ p( - 3) = { (- 3)}^{2} - 5 \times ( - 3) - 6 \\ = 9 + 15 - 6 \\ = 24 - 6 \\ = 18 \\ \\ p(2) = {2}^{2} - 5 \times 2 - 6 \\ = 4 - 10 - 6 \\ = 4 - 16 \\ = - 12
