Given :

P_{4}  + O_{2}  = P_{4} O_{10}

To Find :

Balance the chemical equation

Solution :

P_{4}  + O_{2}  = P_{4} O_{10}

Here we can see phosphorus is already balanced, we only need to balance oxygen on both sides.

P_{4}  + 5 O_{2}  = P_{4} O_{10}

After multiplying with 5 on the left side of the equation, oxygen molecules on both sides become equal. Now the equation is following The Law of Conservation of mass.
