To find:

The volume of the cylinder

Solution:

The volume of a cylinder can be determined by-

V = πr²h, where V is the volume, r is the radius of the circular base, h is the height of the cylinder.

The value of π is taken as 3.14

Circumference of the base= 2πr

So, 2πr= 88

Or, r= 88/2π = 14.01 cm ~14cm

The volume of the cylinder= πr²h

So, V = 3.14*14*14*10 = 6154.54 cm³

The volume of the cylinder is 6154.54 cm³.
