In a class of 40 students, 25 speak Hindi and 15 speak both English and Hindi. All students
speak atleast one of the two languages. How many students speak only English.

Given :-

• Total Number of Students in the class = 40 students
• Total Number of Students who speaks Hindi = 25 students
• Total Number of Students who speaks both Hindi and English = 15 students

To Find :-

• How many number of students speak only English.

Solution :-

In this Question it is given that, Their are total 40 students in the class ,out of that 40 students 25 students speaks Hindi and 15 students speaks both Hindi and English. Now, we have to find the total number of students who speaks only English. For this We will substract total students with total number of students who speak only hindi and both language speaking students.

➟ No, of Eng. speaker = Total students - (10 + 15)

➟ No, of Eng. speaker = 40 - (10 + 15)

➟ No, of Eng. speaker = 40 - (25)

➟ No, of Eng. speaker = 40 - 25

➟ No, of Eng. speaker = 15

________________

So, 15 students speak only English.
