Padma and kumud share profit and loss in the ratio of 3:2.

Through this statement,

It can be said that a business is being run by two partners namely Padma and Kumud. And their profit sharing ratio is 3:2.That means the profit that the business may earn in a financial year shall be divided such that the Padma gets three parts and Kumud gets two portions when the total division of profit is in 5 parts.

For example, If the total profit earned during the year is Rs 10,00,000. Then it shall be divided into a total of 5 parts such that, 3 out of them are Padma's and 2 are of Kumud.

Therefore,

Total Profit = Rs.10,00,000

Padma's Share =  3/5 * 10,00,000

Padma's Share = 6,00,000

Similarly,

Kumud's Share = 2/5 * 10,00,000

Kumud's Share = 4,00,000
