The green plants produces their own food by the process of photosynthesis ( photo : light ; synthesis : joining ). After photosynthesis , the end product contain Glucose and oxygen . The oxygen gets released in the air . The glucose gets converted into sugar for storage purpose and some part of the glucose us consumed by it. At night , it again breaks down the sugar into glucose for consuming purpose and this is how the process continues...
