-\dfrac{3}{4} <  -\dfrac{2}{3}

-\dfrac{1}{3} < -\dfrac{1}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

We have,

-\dfrac{3}{4} and  -\dfrac{2}{3}

Taking LCM of 3, 4 = 12

-\dfrac{3\times 3}{4\times 3}  and -\dfrac{2\times 4}{3\times 4}

-\dfrac{9}{12} and -\dfrac{8}{12}

-\dfrac{9}{12} < -\dfrac{8}{12} (Because - 8 > - 9)

-\dfrac{3}{4} <  -\dfrac{2}{3}

We have,

-\dfrac{1}{3} and -\dfrac{1}{5}

Taking LCM of 3, 5 = 15

-\dfrac{1\times 5}{3\times 5} and -\dfrac{1\times 3}{5\times 3}

-\dfrac{5}{15} and -\dfrac{3}{5}

-\dfrac{5}{15} < -\dfrac{3}{5} (Because - 5 is less than - 3)

-\dfrac{1}{3} < -\dfrac{1}{5}
