Hey there,

so we are given:

a and b form a linear pair ie.

a + b = 180° ---------- (1)

we also have:

a - 2b = 30 ------------ (2)

Subtracting (2) from (1) we get :

3b = 150°

b =  \frac{150}{3}  = 50°

THUS b = 50°

Now, putting b = 50° in (1) , we get :

a + 50° = 180°

a = 180° - 50°

a = 130°

THUS a = 150°

FINAL ANSWERS :

a = 150°

b = 30°

HOPE THIS HELPS

THANKS
