Current = charge of electron/time taken to flow

0.1=n(1.6×10‐¹⁹)/40

n=0.1×40/1.6×10‐¹⁹

n=4/1.6×10‐¹⁹

n=1×10×10¹⁹/4

n=5×10×10¹⁸/2

n=5×5×10¹⁸

n=25×10¹⁸electrons

OR

n=2.5×10¹⁹electrons
