Perimeter = 2(l + b) = 2(6.2 + 5.8) = 2x12 = 24cm

Area = lxb = 6.2 x 5.8 = 35.96 cm²

  • Perimeter = 24 cm.
  • Area = 35.96 cm.

Given :-

  • Length of the rectange = 6.2 cm.
  • Breadth of the rectangle = 5.8 cm.

To find :-

  • The perimeter and area of the rectangle.

Step-by-step explanation :-

We know that :-

Area of a rectangle = Length × Breadth.

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 (Length + Breadth)

Area of the rectangle :-

6.2 cm × 5.8 cm = 35.96 sq.m

Perimeter of the rectangle :-

2 (6.2 cm + 5.8 cm) = 12.4 cm + 11.6 cm = 24 cm.
