Dividend =p(x)= x³ - 64

= x³ - 4³

= (x-4)( x² + 4x + 4² )

= ( x - 4 )( x² + 4x + 16 )

Divisor = g(x) = ( x - 4 )

Dividend = divisor × quotient

+ remainder

$\frac{p(x)}{g(x)}$

= [(x-4)(x²+4x+16)]/(x-4)

= x² + 4x + 16 ( Quotient )

Therefore ,

x³ - 64 = (x-4)(x²+4x+16)+0
