Paheli took the wire of length 5cm and Boojho took the wire of length 15 cm made of same material. The current flowing in both the wire is same. a) Will the heat produced in both the wire be same? Why? b) If the current is passing through the wire of same length but diffferent thickness, will the heat produced be same? Why?

Answer:

Heat produced(H) by current(I) :

H = I²Rt

R--> resistance of the wire = ρL/A

since resistance depends of Length(L) and Area(A)

heat produed in both cases will be different.
