Journal entry....

 \bold \color{red}\boxed { \frac{frieght \: account \: dr \:  \:  \: 400}{to \: mr \: dev \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: 400 \: } }

( being freight paid on behalf of MR dev)

Reason..

If the transaction will be paid freight ₹400

then journal entry will be

 \color{blue} \boxed{ \frac{freight \: account \: dr \: 400}{to \: \: cash \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: 400} }

because frieght is paid on cash only hence cash goes out and frieght comes in ....i.e the rule of journal is here ....

Real account...

dr what comes in

Cr what goes out.

But in above sentence, frieght is paid on behalf of Mr dev. ,hence frieght comes in but not on cash ,it's on Mr dev behalf ,therefore,Mr dev is credited
