According to a study, painting as little as 1% of urban surfaces round the world, could reduce carbon dioxide emissions by many many gigatons.
If this sounds so simple and cheap then why is it not that more and more people are getting on in this. Paining on worlds 5 % roofs would save emissions equal to worlds carbon output in 2010.
Yet we find that many of worlds effluent and educated people shirk from this. This is indeed strange.
