The answer is given below :

When we take negative integers, the sum of the numbers be smaller than both the numbers.

Example : The set is

{ (-1,-2), (-2,-3), (-8,-17),...}

Now, - 1 - 2 = -3, which is smaller than both the numbers.

Thank you for your question.

Heya Frnd ............ ☺

We need to get a pair of integers whose sum is less than both the integers .

It is possible only when both the integers are negative.

So,

The required pair of integers can be :-

( -1,-1) ; (-3,-8) , ............... (-Infinity, - Infinity)

................. ( * ANY VALUES WITH " - VE " SIGN , OR WHICH LIE ON THE LEFT OF 0 ON THE NO. LINE.)
