The descriptive method of research was used in this study. Descriptive method is a fact-finding study with adequate and accurate interpretation of the findings. It describes what is. It describes with emphasis what actually exist such as current conditions, practices, situations, or any phenomena. Since the present study was concerned with the teachers teaching special courses in Senior High School, the descriptive method of research was the most appropriate method to use. Hence, the nature of this research necessitates its purpose for descriptive study​

The descriptive research method primarily focuses on describing the nature of a demographic segment, without focusing on “why” a particular phenomenon occurs. In other words, it “describes” the subject of the research, without covering “why” it happens.
