Pamela drove her car 99 kilometers and used 9 liters of fuel. She wants to know how many

kilometers () she can drive with 12 liters of fuel. She assumes the relationship between

kilometers and fuel is proportional?

you have to use unitary method.

in case, you aren't aware of that, look at the steps below.

km. litres

99. 9

x. 12

cross multiply and write as an equation.

i.e. 99*12= 9x

x= 132.

so, she can go 132 km with 12 litres of fuel
