Panch Mahal is a palace, that is situated in Fatehpur Sikri. It was built 450 years ago and was basically was a site of entertainment and relaxation. The entire palace comprises of 4 floors and the ground floor has approximately 85 pillars in it. It was built by the Emperor Akbar when he shifted his capital from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri.



The entire palace of Panch Mahal is made up of Red Sandstone. This is the reason the palace is also known as a Dream of Red Sandstone.
