The First Battle of Panipat (1526), fought between Babur and Ibrahim Lodi
The Second Battle of Panipat (1556), at which Akbar defeated Hemu
The Third Battle of Panipat (1761), at which the invading Afghani forces of Ahmad Shah Abdali defeated the army of the Maratha Empire under Sadashivrao Bhau
