CP of 3 fans = Rs 3200
CP of 1 fan = 3200/3 = Rs.1066.667
For John,
CP of 5 fans = Rs 7200
CP of 1 fan = 7200/5 = Rs.1440
∵ CP for Pankaj < CP for John
Pankaj got a better deal
Difference = 1440-1066.667 = Rs.373.333
