para-nitrophenol has more boiling point than the ortho-nitrophenol.Why ?

It happen because para nitrophenol better fit in the crystal lattice has hence it has high boiling point.

SharmaAnil: No it is due to the intermolecular hydrogen bonding in para-nitrophenol whereas in case of ortho-nitrophenol there is intramolecular hydrogen bonding that's why .
