NaCl is a salt while Amoeba is an unicellular organism . when we sprinkle salt on amoeba ( in water ) we observe amoeba ran  away from the salt . there is no hard protective layer in amoeba to shield and when salt touches its body all the small chemical reaction or digestive solution get affected .
