A Scary Dream

 I am 11 eleven years old. I study in Class VII.I am scared of darkness. One night my friend came to visit me, I went to see him off to the lift but he insisted me going down with him. After dropping him, I was all alone in the lift. Suddenly light went off and I was struck there. Not even alarm was working. I was frightened out of my wits. Suddenly it started moving and I ran to my house.

My parents had left the house for a party. I was all alone watching T.V. But what brought back all my fear was that light went off again. The phone line also went dead. From time to time I looked at the watch but the thing that made me jumped to my feet was that the bell suddenly started ringing very loudly. I cautiously opened the door and phew!!!!!!! My parents were back ……. Their car had broken down. But wait a minute was it a dream.
