A temple in India is a calm place with an idol of a god which is worshipped by devotees . May it be a small temple or a big , famous one , the devotion is true for one and all unless a devotee is selfish .
In the temple , which is beside my home , the near residents worship Lord Shiva , the destroyer God . Every Monday , my mother goes to the nearby Shiva temple , gives the offerings , puts flowers and milk on the idol and prays .
The temple is about 56 years old and is an old building like structure with its back part almost in ruins . There must be approximate 20-25 devotees coming regularly to that temple for worshipping Lord Shiva .
I too have visited the temple place and it was a very nice devoting site . I offer my prayers , money and milk whenever I go there with my parents . I love going to the temple beside my house a lot .
