While it is great that we are able to experience all these weathers living in just one place, the extreme weather conditions at times become a pain in the neck. Rainy season is the best among all the seasons. However, just as summers and winters the rainy season also comes with its negative and positive sides. Here is a look at the advantages and disadvantages of rainy season.

Advantages of Rainy Season

• Rainwater can be collected for various useful purposes. It helps in curbing the problem of scarcity of water.
• Rain is essential for the proper growth of crops. Farmers wait for the rainy season to see their crops in full bloom.
• The trees and plants get adequate water and turn greener and brighter.
• This season is a natural mood booster.
• It is the time to bond with family and friends.
• It gives the much needed respite from the summer heat.
• It is a treat to see the rain droplets falling.

Disadvantages of Rainy Season

• There is a lot of water logging due to poor drainage system. This leads to traffic jams. Going to work becomes a big task during this time.
• The water logging at various places breeds mosquitoes and the diseases they spread are known to all.
• Trees get uprooted because of the strong winds that blow during this season. This causes a lot of damage.
• The power cuts during this season are more frequent.
• Rains give way to humidity which is very difficult to deal with.

वर्षा को ऋतुओं की रानी कहा जाता है ये ऋतु प्रचंड गर्मी के भोगने के बाद आती है और भारत वर्ष के लोगों को काफी राहत दिलाती है। मुझे लगता है कि जिस तरह से मुझे वर्षा ऋतु बहुत पसंद है उसी तरह दूसरों को भी यह मौसम खूब भाता होगा। यह मुझे काफी खुशी और राहत देता है। आखिरकार यह लंबी गर्मी के बाद जो आता है।

किसानों के लिए वर्षा ऋतु

हमारे किसान भाई इस मौसम के लिये फसलों की तंदुरुस्ती के लिये भगवान इन्द्रराज से प्रार्थना करते है। भारत में किसानों के लिये इन्द्रराज देव की बहुत महत्ता है, क्योंकि इन्द्र देव को वर्षा ऋतु का स्वामी माना जाता है। वर्षा ऋतु इस धरती पर पेड़, पौधे, इंसान और जानवरों के लिये नया जीवन लेकर आती है। सभी जीव-जन्तु बारिश के पानी में भीग कर इस मौसम का आनन्द उठाते है।

जब बारिश आती है तो मैं और मेरे दोस्त छत पर जाकर बारिश के पानी में खूब नाचते-गाते है और ढेर सारी मस्ती करते है। कई बार हम बारिश के दौरान स्कूल या स्कूल बस में होते है और हमारे साथ अध्यापक भी होते है तब भी हम लोग खूब मस्ती करते है। हमारे शिक्षक हमें वर्षा ऋतु पर कविता और कहानियाँ सुनाते है जिसका हम सभी खूब लुत्फ उठाते है। जब हम घर लौटते तो हम फिर से बाहर बारिश के पानी में खेलने जाते है। पूरा पर्यावरण हरा-भरा लगता है और ये बेहद साफ और सुंदर दिखाई देता है। इस धरती पर मौजूद हर जीव जन्तु एक नये जीवन का अनुभव करता है।

निष्कर्ष

वर्षा से फसलों के लिए पानी मिलता है तथा सूखे हुए कुएं, तालाबों तथा नदियों को फिर से भरने का कार्य वर्षा के द्वारा ही किया जाता है। इसीलिए कहा जाता है कि जल ही जीवन है। हमें वर्षा के जल को संचित करके रखना चाहिए।
