The lives of people on Fani
Fani was one of the most devastating tropical cyclones of the year. It greatly affected the lives of the coastal people of Orissa. Thousands of people were shifted from their habitat to escape the wrath of the cyclone. Life has drastically changed for them ever since.
Fani has taken away their shanties. They no longer have a house to live in. Poor as they were, their bread and butter were snatched as their boats were all washed away. Food is scanty. Diseases are infecting them tremendously. The storm has uprooted many valuable trees. Roads have caved in. life is thus at a standstill for all the survivors of Fani.
