Over the distant mountains morning breeze blows
Humming through robust beech birch and oak trees
Evergreen pines whistle to the tune of nippy breeze
Group of songbirds sing delightful springtime Songs
Twirling flossy clouds dance graceful waltzes
Mountain range beneath has got rich pastures
Cows graze fresh grass in lavish green Meadows
Chiming cowbells from mornings to evenings
Sunlight glistens after early morning showers
Pearls like dewdrops fastened to lilac flowers
Beautiful Little lilacs flourish in heavy Clusters
Spreading honey scented appealing fragrances
May's spring days are refreshing and sunny
Trees have new leaves flowers rapidly bloom
When cool breeze blows through the garden
Young maple leaves rustle and pansies dangle
the incident-
it was the month of may. the school had reopened after the annual results.
I was promoted to the higher class and was very excited about it. My bag was full of new books. My uniform was brand new. I was walking briskly towards the school. Suddenly, there were dark clouds in the sky. They soon spread and covered the sun. I started running towards the school and when I was barely a 100 meters away from the school it started pouring hard .I ran towards a tree and stood under it for some time but the rain did not stop. Soon, water drops started drenching me to the marrow. I tried to save my bag to no avail. My shoes and socks were so full of water that I started feeling a numbness in my feet. At last,I took up the risk and started running towards the school. My shoes threw mud all over my back. When I reached school building I took shelter in the porch. I immediately opened my bag and tried to rescue my books and notebooks. The cardboard wrapper of pastel chalks that were meant for the drawing period had got torn. The chalks had become pulp and their color was splashed on my books and notebooks.
I removed my shoes and shocks and left them to dry. I looked awkward. Since then, I never forgetto take my umbrella along the raining season.
