Duties of Student Life
Student life is meant to be a highly disciplined and upright. Student-hood is a period of learning skills, gaining knowledge, and developing character. A student has to lead a very rigorous life. He has to perform many duties to self, family, society, and the nation.
An ideal student is a bundle of many agreeable and pleasant qualities. The first and foremost quality is his goodness. He has a strong character. He has the virtues of focus, responsibility, hard-work, commitment, punctuality, respect for elders, and love for knowledge and education.
The second most noticeable quality of an ideal student is discipline. No student can achieve academic brilliance without discipline. Only a disciplined student will be able to cope up with the challenges of education. Only a disciplined student can manage his time optimally. He utilizes his free time in studies only that make him brilliant in his subjects as well as other areas.
Another admirable quality in an ideal student is his love for knowledge and education. He enjoys learning new things; he is always ready to study more and work harder.
However, in modern times, student-hood appears to have lost all the above mentioned virtues. Most of the students are trapped in the vicious circle of social media, friends, and gadgets. They waste the most precious years of their life in trivial things.
In such a scenario, parents, teachers, and the Government must make some regulatory policies to put them on the right track again.
