The name of my country is India.
It is a beautiful country in the continent of Asia.
There is the great Himalayas in the North of India.
In the South there is the Indian ocean.
The Bay of Bengal is to the East of our country.
To the west there is the Arabian Sea.
Great patriots were born in this land , who fought for their mother land and gave us freedom.
On 15th of August 1947 India become independent.
Our country is ancient land of knowledge and culture.
I love my country and I am proud of country.
I am proud to be Indian.

◼ India is my country. New Delhi is the capital of India. India is a secular country. India was independent on 15 August 1947 after 200 years from English east India country (British)
◼ There are so many people live in India without any discrimination of religion.India is a democratic country where its public are authorized to take decisions for the betterment of the country. India is a famous country for the saying “Unity in Diversity” because people of many religions, castes, culture and tradition live together with unity.
◼ Most of the Indian heritages and monuments have been added to the world heritage sites.In India Indian philosophy of life is followed which is called as Sanatan Dharma and has become the main factor to maintain unity in diversity here.
◼ India is a republic country where its citizens have power to take decision about country. There are many natural sceneries, places, monuments, historical heritage of the ancient time, etc which attracts people’s mind from every corner of the world.
◼ India is very famous for its spiritual works, Yoga, martial arts, etc. A huge crowd of pilgrims and devotees come here to see and enjoy the beauty of famous places, temples and other world heritage sites in India.
