Answer:

Lost, stranded, all alone’ creepy animals watching me, what do I do now? I’m Delilah Grace and the day I got lost in the rainforest I quiet well remember.

  1. Today is the morning we are heading off to the National State Rainforest and of course I was late but that is nothing unusual. I arrive and Miss Bell said hurry along now we need to go or we will be late. Miss Bell is the nicest teacher around and everybody loved her thank goodness she was our teacher. The bus takes off we are having such a great time which is good because it is a four hour trip. We arrive and we grab our bags and go and sit down so that Miss Bell can call the roll and so we can get into groups and go in the rain forest. I am put in a group with my best friends: Mark, Belle, Amanda and Eve wen have been best friends since kindergarten. Off we go into the rainforest and there is a spider web luckily we have a man in the group so Mark picks up a stick and wraps the web around it and throws the stick away. We keep on walking and there in another path I take it thinking that my friends would take it to. I keep walking for a couple of minutes and I say “guys stop playing games with me” I turn around and they aren’t there I yell and scream but there are so many trees it block all of the sound. I start running thinking I can catch them but I accidentally take a wrong path so now I am completely lost I tell myself not to worry about it they will come looking for me soon. It has been hours and now it is dark it is so cold it would probably be below zero degrees. Why haven’t they come looking for me?. There is lots of animals watching me this is worse than my nightmare or worse than I can ever imagine.
  • It is morning and I think I may have hyperthermia. “HISS, HISS’ what is that I turn around and there is a huge diamond python standing behind me. I run as fast as I can but the snake follows me so I come to three paths which one do I take I take the left one and I come to a dead end so I run bush so the snake finally stop following me. I faint and when I wake up I don’t really know if I am hallucinating or it is real but I can see Marks face OMG it is actually real Mark is real he is standing there I am so relieved the ambulance officer is there they put me on a stretcher and put me in the ambulance. Mark comes with me and I say to him why did you leave me?. There is no reply.

A Day in the Forest

It was a calm, overcast day, and I found myself resting at the side of a large oak tree, admiring the beauty of the woods that surrounded me.

The sunless sky covered the woods over the treetops which created a canopy over my head. The crimson and auburn foliage was a magnificent sight, as this was the season known as Fall. There was a gentle breeze, creating the single sound of rustling leaves. The leaves appeared as though they were dying to fall out of the tree and join their companions on the forest floor. Together with pine needles and other flora the leaves formed a thick springy carpet for me to walk upon.

In the distance, the trail along which I had been walking wound through a thick…show more content…

Yet were being held down, giving a silent rhapsody of joy and grieving. Along the way fallen timber accompanied thickets of weeds. A lazy mist hazed my vision, making the horizon seem like one from a story book. The area was imperturbable, as if it was keeping a secret hidden deep within itself.

Resting underneath the shade of the trees, I found myself appreciating the scent of pine needles; the ambiance of Christmas. Encompassed by the thick heavy air, I watched as a single sparrow fluttered high above the emerald forest. A few feet next to me an eager chipmunk hastily scampered from tree to tree, awaiting the chill of winter. The forest, I realized, was home to many wild creatures. In giving protection and food, the forest was gladly rewarded with the company of these animals. Beyond the horizon, I could see the community of newly formed saplings. They appeared as little children, learning under the guidance of their grown and fully matured parents.

The forest was pure and clean, as though it had never been disturbed by man and his vicious life killing machines. Peacefully sleeping under the dark gray sky, the community of mighty timber had not a care in the world.
