Air pollution is a mixture of solid particles and gases in the air. Car emissions, chemicals from factories, dust, pollen and mold spores may be suspended as particles. Ozone, a gas, is a major part of air pollution in cities. When ozone forms air pollution, it's also called smog. Some air pollutants are poisonous.

Air Pollution is mainly caused by 3 factors-(a)Excessive burning of fossil fuels, like coal ,kerosene, petrol & diesel. (b)Smoke ,from factories & vehicles. (c)Use of certain harmful substances like chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs).There are many disadvantages also (i)Carbon Monoxide when inhaled,passes through lungs into the blood.It combines with haemoglobin to form a complex substance known as Carboxy Haemoglobin. This complex substance unables to transport O² to various parts of the body.(ii)Nitrogen Dioxide is high in concentration that is very harmful to plants,and results in retardation of their photosynthesis activity.(iii)Smog leads to diseases related to lungs like bronchitis & asthma..........Hope it'll help u...plz follow & mark me as brainliest ❤❤❤
