Our mother Earth has been facing various issues since a very long time due to some harmful effects caused mainly by us, the human beings:

• The most important reason for the degradation of our home, earth, is the various kinds of pollution. The air we breathe, is filled with harmful gases and its particulates. These gases and its particulates are released into the environment by the emissions caused by burning the fossil fuels in the factories and power plants. Pollution from the emission of cars, trucks and other vehicles makes the air unhealthy to breathe in. The effect of this increasing pollutants in the environment is accompanied by the large-scale deforestation which makes it difficult for the environment to heal itself.  

• We are cutting down trees and removing forests to build new houses, industries etc, not realizing that due to this reason alone, the level of Carbon Dioxide in the air is increasing alarmingly.

• We are also not able to preserve the cleanliness of the water which the nature provides us. Various external factors like industries, releases their toxic wastes into the water bodies. These water when flows into the crop fields, in turn, contaminates the crops and the grains.

Remedies to the above problems:

• We should switch to more clean and renewable energy resources like wind energy and solar power, which does not causes any harmful emission thus preserving the nature. These renewable energy sources, as the name suggests, also are not finite and hence they can fulfill our energy requirements for a longer term. Also, we should avoid using plastics and plastic products, as they cause very harmful effect on the fauna of our planet. Often we have seen unnatural demise of animals due to plastic or its products.

Thus, if we can follow the above mentioned remedies, we will be able to heal mother nature and will make it the heavenly abode which she was.
