Dusshera is a hindu religious festival mostly celebrated in India for the goddess Durga. The 10th day also known as vijayadashami is celebrated because the durga maa kill the Mahishasur.It starts by a fast session of 8 days thenit ends with a huge Havan Puja. The is mostly celebrated by the couples but individuals can also do so.In the ninth day havan is done by all the family members and on the thenth day everyone wear new cloths etc.The ninth day also special because of there peoples open their fast and serve food to the 'nau kanyas' as the gooddess The all days children are very happy because of the local mela outside their homes in almost every famous street of the city.In India it is highly celebrated in Kolkata.On the eleventh day the Durga maa got into the nearby pond and have a huge good bye.For me the both navaratras is celebrated so I daily feel that there is a weeding all day in the festival.
