Answer:
Despite several calls and complaints made to the Electricity Department, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, no one seems to be paying heed to the problem I have been wanting to bring to their notice.
In our area or almost areas of our city, all the streetlights are on at 6.45 in the evening and go off at 6.45 in the morning. Now, the problem is that during summers, there is sunlight up till 7.30pm, and the daybreak occurs at 5.30am. There is no need for the streetlights to be kept on beyond that, isn’t it? Then why are they wasting 45 minutes of power supply to light up thousands of light poles? Please help this problem reach the right people, who can understand what the issue is.
