Introduction:

    In our life we do many important works with our limbs and we do a lot of good and intelligent thinking too using our active brain.   We live with zeal,  excitement, enthusiasm and energy.   For us to do these above, we need energy.  Energy comes from digestion of food.  So food and water are essential for our lives.
 
Food & diet:

   Our body needs a lot of proteins, carbohydrates, water, some fat, vitamins and minerals.

    Proteins are needed for growth of muscles and body parts.  Carbohydrates give the energy to do work, play and study.  Water is required for digestion and to regenerate  blood.  Vitamins and minerals are required for good working of the organs: eyes, ears, heart, stomach, liver, glands etc.  Vitamins and minerals give protection against diseases.  Fibrous foods like fruits and some vegetables help in the digestion process and the movement of waste along the intestines. 

    To be healthy, we must eat complete foods like milk and eggs.  Take food at proper times.  Do not eat too less nor too much.  We must avoid oily, fatty foods and fast  foods.
  
    Diet means eating a proper mixture of food items like rice, wheat, vegetables, milk, eggs, curd, water, fruit juices, fruits, pulses etc. at right times.  We should not sleep immediately after eating lunch or dinner.

.Healthy Eating food.

A human body has to perform many tasks to stay alive. To perform the tasks, it requires energy to work. Energy comes from Food. The type of energy the body have depends upon the types of food the body takes. If the body takes foods that are not nutritious, then it will not act properly, as a result the body won't be able to perform the tasks, and if the body won't perform tasks properly then it will ruin and ultimately die. So, food does a major part in our lifes.

Un-healthy foods will make a body lazy, depressed and cause diseases; whereas healthy foods will make a body, fit, healthy and disease-free.

Healthy foods include the home-made foods. These include the nutritious ones i.e. vegetables, fruits, proteins, carbs, fats, vitamin, etc. Every food have its own value. They are all necessary, lack of specific nutrients may cause diseases. Healthy foods makes the body active and strong. It also helps in brain functioning.
