Answer:

Over the years I’ve heard people ask themselves and the people around them questions and more questions about the lives they lived. You see people wallowing in the past and asking themselves ‘what if I could go back to yesterday?’

Time changes and so do people. In the past there may be the things we did, the company we kept, the things we said or even the things we failed to do and so forth that we wish we did or say those things differently.

Instead of living the life of ‘if I lived back in history’ why not live the life of ‘this is it and this is what I ought to do’?

The truth is people keep thinking about the past that they totally forget to live in the present nor think of tomorrow. The lives of ‘i wish I had…, if I lived back in history…’ What if I did… differently, why did I do or say…’ will only bring to your door step thoughts that cannot be achieved but rather breed pain that comes with regrets.

Our histories are suppose to help us become better and not bitter.
