When we were planning to go to a water park last summers, we were very unsure about how my grandmother would react. She is a fun-loving person, but is also extremely cautious. Yet, when we asked her to choose between a day trip to the water park and an overnight stay in the hills, she promptly chose the first option. We were elated. The next day was the most memorable family outing I have ever had. Grandma did not go on any of the slides or rides, but did not get out of the water either. She stayed in the shallow areas, enjoying the music and splashing water onto us. She did not hurry us up. Instead, she patiently waited for us to. On our way back, she asked father to treat us kids to our favourite ice creams. By the end of the day, Grandma was terribly tired, but she had been such a sport that day!
