Classification allows studying good character and it's contribution to positive development in a comprehensive way. The VIA classification describe 24 character strengths, that are organized under six, more abstract, virtues (wisdom and knowledge, courage, humanity, justice, temperance and transcendence) and are seen as way to reach their virtues.
