Reality shows which are a cheerful medium of enjoyment in children can also produce certain negative impacts. Children tend to copy the anchor of participants of the reality show thus changing their lifestyle. They tend to develop a competitive mentality which if not healthy can lead to serious consequences. There can be a drastic change in their personal life when they turn obsessive about the show and start to copy the way people behave. Thus watching reality shows can do serious harms to children.

Nowadays, the Indian television is flooded with reality shows. Most of them become popular because they violate the traditions and cultural values of our country. Moreover, they are not only being enjoyed by the adults, but also the children and the adolescents love it.
Children who are left to watch these vedios get spoiled and carry on the same behavior in their real lives.
Children have the capability of learning and absorbing faster than that of adults. But, watching TV programmes make them caught on the wrong foot. They become addicted to them and inculcate the habits of lying, false identifications, violence, abusing and ditching their own peers.
Their habits of imitating the reality shows makes them lose their inner potential. They begin to hate the real world and start hesitating to speak in front of others.
Instead of reading books, they love the virtual world and the values in them begin to degrade.
Therefore, the need of the boards to stop vulgarities in the television is the need of the hour. Children shall ne taught that what they hear or listen is just fake. They aren't reality..........
