Answer:

India is a land of farmers. It is called so because majority of Indians are directly or indirectly involved in agricultural activities. It would not be wrong to say that farmers are the backbone of our economy. They are also called “Annadata”, which means “food provider”.  the farmer plays the same role for our country as the backbone plays for the human body.  The problem is that this backbone (our farmer) is suffering from many problems. Sometimes, many of them can’t even afford two square meals a day. Despite all the hardships which they face, they continue to play an important role.

✝️ India is an agricultural country. Most of the people live in villages are farmers. They grow cereals , pulses , vegetables and fruits. The farmers lead a tough life. They get up early in the morning and go to the fields. They stay and work on the farm late till evening. The farmers usually live in kuchcha houses. Though , they work hard they remain poor. Farmers eat simple food ; wear simple clothes and rear animals like cows , buffaloes and oxen. Without them there would be no cereals for us to eat. They play an important role in the growth and economy of a country.✨
