Air pollution is defined by the ways in which the air is polluted. Air is the most important component of the human environment. Man can not survive a single moment without air. But we do not think that it is we who are responsible for polluting this most vital element. Clean air is essential for life. Air is polluted in many ways. For example, smoke pollutes the air. Men make fires to cook his food, to make bricks burn woods, melt pitch for road construction. All these activities create heavy smoke and this smoke pollutes the air.Another example is that railway engines, powerhouses, mills, and factories use coal and oil. Moreover, buses, trucks, and cars use petrol and diesel oil. Again all these things create heavy smoke that causes serious air pollution. Furthermore, in big industrial areas, the most serious air pollution occurs. Moreover, serious air pollution also occurs in big cities where there are many buses, trucks, and cars plying the street every day. Sometimes workers of the big industrial area become so sick by inhaling polluted air that is incurable. So, the concerned authority should take proper measures and steps to prevent air pollution.
