The Indian education system is quite an old education system that still exists. It has produced so many genius minds that are making India proud all over the world. However, while it is one of the oldest systems, it is still not that developed when compared to others, which are in fact newer. This is so as the other countries have gone through growth and advancement, but the Indian education system is still stuck in old age. It faces a lot of problems that need to be sorted to let it reach its full potential.

"Present day Education System"

Education system and policies undergo a variety of changes in the changing times. It adapts better concepts from the international education systems and tries to incorporate them into the Indian system. In India, the students go through many exams in their learning years. It helps them to analyse their strengths and weaknesses consistently. But again, it faces a drawback that only written exams cannot decide an individual's potential.

The present Education System in India has four levels- primary level, upper primary, high and higher secondary. The students learn a lot of things along with extra curricular activities. A New Education Policy was also introduced in the recent past which made a lot of changes in the education system in India.
