human civilization has made a Wonderful progress during the last few centuries. it is science which has been at the root of this great development. indeed, wonderful are the achievement of science and technology. it has taught us how to produce more food and secure better housing than in the age of primitive people. it has made our home life more enjoyable and comfortable with the invention of electric fan, the refrigerator, the television, radio etc.people go to distance places, thanks to science,by buses,trams, trains and aeroplanes.modern surgery and medicine are working wonders by curing dangerous disease. but despite all these achievement science has its disadvantage. motor vehicle Mills and factory are causing environmental pollution which is so dangerous for our life. use of dangerous and deadly arms and ammunitions like atom bombs hydrogen bomb and poisons gases may annihilate the whole human civilization within minutes.books are also used these days for poisoning men's mind. so science is a blessing only if it is used for constructive purposes. otherwise it is a curse.
