Generally there are five seasons in state of Bengal as Spring,Summer,Rainy,Autumn and Winter.Spring season comes in season of holi celebration. Summer season comes under the period from first week of march to month of june with temperature of 30 degree to 45 degree. The rainy season stretches from july to end of september with annual rainfall of 175 cm. Autumn season is shortest season in the bengal region which starts from beginning of octomber to middle of november the skies remain clear in this period. Winter season experienced in from middle november to month of february with january is coldest month by temperature of 9 degree to 16 degree .
