The use of plastic products, be it containers, clothing, toys or even bags are all a major contributors of the pollution levels rising in earth. They may be durable and safer than other items but they also take years and years to decompose and be removed.

it has become a norm for us to rely on the use of plastic produce in our daily lives. they are durable and sturdy, and convenient. But the bad effects out-weights the good. Just as they are long lasting in use, they are also long lasting in their decomposition. And as they take years to be fully decomposed, the accumulation of the plastic increases more than the decomposition level. Thus, with years passing, the pollution of land increases gradually with the plastics being the foremost pollutant in land. So, what we can do our bit to help lower the pollution level is to shun plastic, stop using them or reduce using them. Wherever possible, try using natural products like bringing your own carry-bags instead of asking the shopkeeper for the polythene bags. Also, instead of plastic bottles and plates, we can resort to use glass or steel bottles and more eco friendly plates. If we don't do our bit for the environment, no one else will do it for us.
