Mother Teresa was a great missionary. She was born on August 26, 1910 in Skopje in Macedonia. Her father Agnes called her Gonxha Bojaxhia. When she was young, she felt that she should spend her entire life for God and his work. At 18, she joined the Loreto Sisters, who were very active in India.
